Palisade Tales

Every community has stories that grandparents told on long evenings: clever children, talking animals, wandering sages, and always a song. Many of these tales were never written down. Palisade Tales is a community project that retells them as picture books and narrated videos, in many languages, checked by native speakers, so children everywhere can hear them again. Our first stories come from the villages around Veeranam lake in Tamil Nadu.
